The White Strpes - The White Stripes (2003)
(•)> Iconic guitar playing. The White Stripes are known for only using drums and guitar on their records and that resourcefulness becomes even more impressive in "Elephant". Like most White Stripes projects, "Elephant" switches between electrifying and cutesy tunes. The opener, "Seven Nation Army" is so powerful that its iconic notes are still chanted in football stadiums all across the world. The tracks that follow it ("Medicine", "Black Math") also showcase iconic riffs and amazing guitar playing by the one and only Jack White. Meanwhile, the brothers perfected the minimal folk songs ("Little Accorn", per example) to fit the album better. "Elephant" stays extremely consistent and refuses to get stale, probably The White Stripes' magnum opus.
