1. What first got you into music?
My father is a musician and he started taking me to concerts when I was a toddler. Then I got into choirs and started working in the studio at age 11.
2. Who came first? The chicken or the Egg?
Actually, they both came at the same time so people would always be scratching their heads.
3. What would you do if you had a time machine?
I would go back and stop the creation of nuclear weapons.
4. What memorable responses have you had to your work?
I could write a book in answer to this. While I have had lots of great responses from top musicians including Grammy winners, the best responses come from fans who say that my songs affect them in some positive way.
5. Do you think that technology is improving lives?
Of course, but there are downsides too. Many people use social media to escape and not communicate in person, and children can get a twisted view of life if they saturate their brains with screen time instead of people and nature time.
6. Do you have a mentor or coach?
I have many mentors and coaches: my father, my vocal coach, and my producers. I have learned that to be successful in this business, one has to work with top professionals who have had tons of experience and that is what I do.
7. What’s your favorite 80’s album?
Wow, that was way before I was born. But I would have to say Michael Jackson's Thriller.
8.What are you most proud of?
I am proud that I am true to myself and that I have succeeded in music by charting my own path.
9. What’s your favorite 00’s album?
Definitely Amy Winehouse's Back to Black
