After an unsettling string intro, Daggers reveals itself as a banger full of funky, groovy textures. The euphoria is at its peak and this track underpinned by the funkiest of basses couldn't be more sensual! "Daggers" reaches its climax when its synths go up in flames in a bombastic single that isn't afraid to idolize past decades. Here pop is taken to the extreme and reaches its full splendor in a psychedelic music video and a mega catchy chorus that makes names like Carly Rae Jepsen gnaw themselves with envy!!!
