Cru cru, what first got you into music?
I was born into a musical family, and grew up listening to many different genres, but in particular Jazz, Soft Rock and Folk, and Classical. There was almost always music in the house, whether it was Mom or one of us (I have 3 siblings) playing piano or music on the stereo. I started playing guitar at age 9, and fell in love with that instrument almost immediately.
What would you do if you had a time machine?
If I had a time machine, I think I'd like to go back to parts of my childhood to relive. There were some really sweet moments, but I honestly can't remember the majority of them. Of course, I would also like to be able to fly into the future and see what my girls do with their lives when they get to be my age now.
What’s your favorite album of all time?
I don't think I have ONE favorite album of all time, but a couple faves are Cat Stevens' Teaser and the Firecat and "Izitso" as well as Dan Fogelberg's "Innocent Age".
Will you tell us something embarassing about you?
I'm not sure what to say on this one. Is it embarrassing that I take spiders outside when I find them in the house?
What are you doing to ensure you continue to grow and develop as an artist?
I work on growing and developing as an artist by writing on a regular basis. I also take courses and read about the to learn as much as I can about how to take my music career to the next level.
Are you a music fan?
Am I a music fan??? Of course!
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?
Yes, I love to read, garden, and play with my pets. I am also an avid fitness geek as I also own and run a personal training company.
What’s movie do you love the most?
One of my absolute favorites is "Pretty Woman" (OK, THAT is probably more embarrassing than the spiders thing.) I am also a fan of almost every movie Dustin Hoffman and Julia Roberts have ever been in.
Who came first? The Pigeon or the egg?
Not sure about this one. It's a question that constantly plagues me. LOL.
Do you agree with the Pigeon?
