The piece opens boldly with a soulful performance that sounds more like a sample, as it is replaced by an intriguing voice-over speech. Then we start again with a symbiosis between dynamic organic percussion and synthetic keys that create relaxing landscapes and soundscapes for me to study. These lo-fi hip-hop beats The frequency that follows after we pick up an imperceptible conversation bets on psychedelic keys that go from one side of the instrument to the other as they become progressively sharper and more nostalgic, reaching the ultimate extreme of refinement. The symbiosis with the drums continues on this EP available on soundclound. In case you haven't noticed, "Piedmont Park" is mostly instrumental, after a few whistles where no penalty is marked, another track follows, but the vintage aesthetic remains and the music now sounds like it came from my grandfather's dusty record player. At the same time, the vinyl crackles like it's on fire as we finish the first half of this experimentalist project that isn't afraid to take risks. After a short break, the melodies become even more playful, but the fun doesn't last long because we're in for some breaking news!
