Review

Don't Forget to check out the original album: Dirty Blonde by Sage Suede.

After having already talked about "High" (probably the brightest star on the record), I really want to put the spotlight on these tracks: "Corn Chip Thot" and "The Best Revenge". "Corn Chip Tot" starts off in a very cartoony way with bold experimentalism and infectious Beck influences. Like Beck, Sage Suede mixes genres that are completely different - gangsta rap and future house for example, effortlessly! In talking to this artist, what impressed me most was undoubtedly his self - respect and that facet is definitely demonstrated in this single. On the other hand, "The Best Revenge" is much more playful, reminding me of incredible acts like Pet Shop Boys. The synthetic melodies distorted to the core here couldn't be more futuristic. Also, the production couldn't be more infectious or audacious in this hyper-electronic rave, with every element of the song turning out to be an exaggerated form of itself.

The Pigeon added the new single to his Dancing Gems playlist on Spotify. You can check out the released music below. If you like what you hear, make sure to follow along so you can stay on top of future releases!
