In "With You" the Pulltops take a much more synthetic approach inspired by the 80s and use a more beautiful and romantic production than in their previous single! While the previous single reminded me of the charisma and creativity of Parquet Courts' riffs, "With You" and its lighter-than-helium vocal performances seem more interested in acquiring an aesthetic similar to the Flaming Lips' lo - fi orchestra. This love hook is extraordinarily cathartic and here you can undoubtedly feel the emotional weight of making a decision or a promise that has lifelong implications!
