INTERVIEW: VULGAR COMMONS

1. Cru Cru Vulgar Commons, super nice to have the chance to chat with you! What first got you into music?

What’s up, what’s up, this is Matt from Vulgar Commons. I had this disorder as a kid where the muscles in my hands were weak, so I needed to do some activity to strengthen them. Playing guitar was an option, and I thought it was cool and have been playing ever since.

2. Can you tell us a cringe memory of yours?

My life.

3. What’s your favorite memory?

We played a show at Cubby bear in early January on a Saturday night, and it was easily the best show we’ve played. Everyone was super into it, and it was sick that we got to share a stage with some of our musical heroes.

4 Will you tell us something embarrassing about you?

I think Breaking Bad is overrated.

5. What’s the best decade for music?

Hmmmm…probably the 60s or 80s.

6. Who’s your favorite artist?

Lou Reed.

7.What’s the best advice you ever gave in your life?

Give me the keys; you’re too drunk to drive.

8. How is your tour going?

Pretty well! We’re booking some shows in Wisconsin for a mini tour.

9. What’s your favorite 70’s album?

Berlin (Lou Reed), Pink Moon (Nick Drake), or Unknown Pleasures (Joy Division).

10. Do You agree with the Pigeon?

As long as it doesn’t poop on me.
